Our Low Flow Pumps

Blatypus Pump has no internal bladder, but functions like a bladder pump.

The pump eliminates purging and sampling problems associated with tearing and leaking bladders as well as limited lift capacity issues with traditional bladder pumps.

With durable fittings, sturdy design, and low cost, the Blatypus Pump is the next generation in low-flow submersible pump technology suitably designed for 20ft-3000ft bgs applications.

Footnote:
1. Compressed gas combined with control timer repeatedly moves groundwater up and down between two lines (C).
2. C1 represents a high permeability/fast-recharge condition, and C2 represents a low permeability/slow-recharge condition.
3. BESST proprietary valve system draws fresh water into chamber during the recharge cycle and discharges that water during the purge cycle.
4. Groundwater incrementally fills sample return line until water reaches the ground surface.
5. The water interface repeatedly filling the gas inline never becomes part of the sample stream. No gas comes into contact with the groundwater sample.
